1. Introduction
Anywhere.Vegas combines structured venue data, deterministic rules, ranking systems, automated calculations, editorial classifications, user preferences, and optional AI-assisted processing to help visitors find and plan things to do in Las Vegas.
Not every feature uses generative AI. This policy explains how automated and AI-assisted systems support visitor discovery and planning, and where their outputs should be treated with judgment rather than as authoritative answers.
2. Automated systems, defined
"Automated systems" refers to programmed logic that operates without generative AI. In Anywhere.Vegas this may include sorting, filtering, venue ranking, distance calculation, itinerary sequencing, nearby pairing, category matching, visitor-fit matching, availability calculations, schedule interpretation, scoring, content assembly, and rule-based recommendations.
Deterministic automation follows rules written by our team. It is distinct from generative AI, which produces novel text or content in response to a prompt.
3. AI-assisted features, defined
"AI-assisted features" describes functionality that may draw on a generative language model. Where used, such features may interpret a visitor's request, summarize venue information, generate planning suggestions, draft recommendation explanations, combine structured data into conversational responses, or help administrators draft or review editorial content.
The availability, scope, and behavior of these functions may change. This document does not name a specific active model or provider.
4. Current AI provider status
We do not publish API keys, endpoints, or provider secrets. Where an external provider is used, its identity, availability, and terms may change without a corresponding product-facing announcement other than an updated "Last Updated" date on this policy.
5. Structured data as the foundation
Recommendation outputs rely heavily on structured venue information maintained in the Anywhere.Vegas catalog. This may include category and subcategory, location and area, distance, visitor type, occasion, group size, price level, duration, transportation requirements, family suitability, physical activity, indoor or outdoor setting, best time, availability, hours, schedule exceptions, weather sensitivity, accessibility notes, nearby pairings, booking urgency, and editorial descriptions.
Incomplete, outdated, or incorrect source data can affect what appears in recommendations and how it is described.
6. Recommendation and ranking systems
Our automated recommendation systems may filter venues, rank matches, resolve location context, prioritize proximity, evaluate itinerary fit, consider stated visitor intent, compare venue attributes, and provide fallback suggestions when no strong match exists.
Recommendations are estimates of suitability based on available data and configured logic. They are not objective truth, and different visitors will reasonably prefer different results. We do not publish proprietary weights, thresholds, or ranking formulas.
7. User inputs
Recommendations may use visitor-provided information such as search terms, stated interests, preferred category, budget, location, group type, occasion, timing, transportation preference, accessibility needs, saved favorites, and itinerary selections.
Inaccurate, incomplete, ambiguous, or misinterpreted inputs may produce less useful recommendations. Refining the query or adjusting selections generally improves results.
8. Location information
Location-aware features may use a manually selected venue or area, a browser-provided location (when you grant permission), approximate distance calculations, or prior location context held in memory during a session.
Precise coordinates are used in memory for the duration of your session and are not persistently stored on our servers. For details, see Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy. Anywhere.Vegas does not perform continuous background tracking.
9. Recommendation explanations
Recommendation text may describe why a venue fits, best visitor type, timing, nearby pairings, practical considerations, alternative options, and possible tradeoffs.
Explanations may be assembled from structured data, editorial content, rules, or AI-assisted drafting. Not every sentence in an explanation reflects a personally written human opinion.
10. Human and administrative review
Authorized administrators or editors may review venue data, update descriptions, correct categories, manage media, change availability records, update editorial notes, review published content, and correct reported errors through internal editorial and publishing tools.
11. Editorial oversight
The broader Editorial Policy governs information sources, fact verification, recommendation independence, affiliate relationships, corrections, venue feedback, media standards, and conflicts of interest. That policy applies to AI-assisted outputs as well as human-authored content, and this document does not restate it in full.
12. Affiliate independence
If sponsored placements are introduced in the future, they will be labeled as such. See the Affiliate Disclosure for more. Affiliate relationships may change over time.
13. Sponsored and paid content
At the time this policy was last updated, Anywhere.Vegas did not operate a general paid-placement or sponsored-ranking program.
If sponsored or paid content is introduced in the future, it will be clearly labeled, distinguishable from ordinary recommendations, and disclosed in the relevant policies.
14. Accuracy limitations
Automated or AI-assisted outputs may be affected by outdated venue information, incomplete catalog fields, conflicting sources, venue closures, changing hours, dark days, pricing changes, availability changes, misunderstood user intent, location errors, software defects, model limitations, or classification errors.
15. Hallucinations and unsupported statements
Generative systems may occasionally produce information that sounds plausible but is incomplete, outdated, unsupported, or combines separate facts incorrectly. This can happen even when the surrounding output is otherwise reasonable.
Automated text should not be treated as the sole source for important decisions, including travel, health, safety, financial, or legal choices.
16. Venue availability and booking
Automated recommendations do not guarantee admission, reservations, ticket availability, pricing, operating hours, seating, accessibility accommodations, transportation availability, refunds, or third-party fulfillment. Third-party providers control those transactions.
See the Terms of Service for the full framework governing third-party booking and platform use.
17. Safety and high-impact decisions
Automated content is not a substitute for emergency services, medical advice, legal advice, financial advice, gambling advice, accessibility verification, safety assessments, or age-restriction verification.
Visitors remain responsible for checking weather, heat, walking demands, transportation, venue rules, age restrictions, alcohol policies, accessibility needs, and local conditions.
18. Accessibility considerations
AI and automated recommendations may use accessibility-related catalog fields where available. Accessibility information may be incomplete, individual needs differ, and automated systems may not interpret every need correctly.
For our platform-level accessibility commitments, see the Accessibility Statement.
19. Bias and representation
Automated systems may reflect limitations in source data, categorization, editorial language, venue coverage, geographic representation, visitor assumptions, and — where AI-assisted features are used — the training data of external providers.
Anywhere.Vegas seeks to identify and correct material patterns that produce misleading or unfair results. We do not claim that bias has been eliminated, and we do not operate a formal external bias-audit program.
20. Venue coverage
Recommendation results are limited to venues currently in the Anywhere.Vegas catalog and eligible under the active filters. Absence from results does not necessarily indicate poor quality; newer or less documented venues may have limited data, archived or inactive venues are excluded, and category errors or incomplete records can affect visibility and rankings.
21. Corrections and feedback
We welcome reports concerning incorrect recommendations, wrong venue categories, misleading explanations, outdated hours, inaccurate availability, wrong location results, inappropriate pairings, missing accessibility context, incorrect images, biased or offensive output, and repeated recommendation failures.
Please use the general contact channels listed in the Legal & Trust Center. We do not operate a dedicated AI complaint address.
22. Review of reported issues
When reports are received, Anywhere.Vegas may review the user input, inspect the venue record, inspect recommendation logic, verify source data, correct catalog information, revise editorial text, adjust future system behavior, or document an unresolved limitation.
We do not promise a specific outcome, a fixed response deadline, model retraining, deletion of all related data, or compensation.
23. Personal information and privacy
AI and automated features may process information supplied during use, such as search text, stated preferences, location context, itinerary selections, and planning requests.
Recommendation prompts are processed to produce a response and are not deliberately persisted to a long-term prompt archive by Anywhere.Vegas. Itineraries and recent searches are stored in your browser subject to the retention limits described in the Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy. Where an external AI provider is in use, submitted content may be transmitted to that provider for processing.
24. Provider data practices
If an external AI provider is used, that provider may process submitted information under its own service terms and data-handling practices. Provider identity and behavior may change with deployment configuration.
Anywhere.Vegas does not make independent guarantees about a provider's retention, training use, regional processing, deletion schedules, or confidentiality on that provider's behalf.
25. Sensitive information
Please do not submit unnecessary sensitive information through conversational or recommendation features. Examples include passwords, payment-card information, government identifiers, detailed medical records, private legal documents, or confidential business information. Anywhere.Vegas is not designed to collect these categories.
26. Children and age-restricted content
Recommendations may include venues involving alcohol, gambling, nightlife, or other age-restricted activities. Automated systems may not reliably determine legal eligibility or personal suitability.
Visitors must verify venue rules and applicable laws. Anywhere.Vegas is not an age-verification service.
27. Media and image automation
Images shown alongside venues are selected through database records and display rules. Automated fallback behavior may show placeholder images, and incorrect venue-image associations may occur. Licensing and attribution remain governed by the Copyright & Attribution Policy. Anywhere.Vegas does not represent that AI independently certifies image rights.
28. Content generation for administrators
Administrators or editors may use automated or AI-assisted tools to help draft descriptions, summarize information, structure content, identify missing fields, propose corrections, or prepare editorial material. Suggested content may require review before publication.
Not all administrative content is AI-generated, and AI-drafted material is subject to the same editorial standards as any other content.
29. Training of Anywhere.Vegas systems
Anywhere.Vegas primarily uses structured application data and configured recommendation logic. It does not represent that it trains a proprietary general-purpose AI model. If that changes, this policy will be updated to disclose it.
We do not speculate on external providers' training practices in this document.
30. Automated decision-making
Recommendation systems help visitors choose among venues. They do not make legally binding or similarly significant decisions about users, and they do not determine employment, credit, insurance, housing, legal eligibility, or government benefits.
31. User control
Visitors can change the query, adjust preferences, select another location, choose another category, clear recent searches, clear browser-stored data, remove favorites, edit itineraries, ignore recommendations, or follow direct venue links instead of suggested ones. Preference and storage controls are available from your profile where applicable.
Anywhere.Vegas does not currently offer a dedicated AI opt-out control.
32. Service changes
Automated and AI-assisted systems may change as venue data improves, ranking logic is updated, external providers change, prompts change, new safeguards are introduced, user controls expand, or human-review workflows mature.
We do not promise advance notice for every technical change. Material policy changes will be reflected in the "Last Updated" date above.
33. No guarantee of continuity
Any AI-assisted feature may be unavailable, disabled, replaced, limited, converted to rule-based behavior, or removed. Anywhere.Vegas does not guarantee permanent availability of any specific AI provider, model, or feature.
34. Contact
We welcome feedback about inaccurate outputs, offensive outputs, bias, recommendation failures, privacy concerns, venue-data errors, accessibility issues, and automated content questions. Please use the general channels below; we do not maintain a dedicated AI email address, AI ethics office, model-support phone number, mailing address, or responsible-AI officer.
